Revised Relief Funding Liquidation Extensions (4/25/2025)

LEAs with approved ARP ESSER (ESSER 3.0) and/or ARP Homeless (Homeless 1.0, Homeless 2.0, and Systems Navigator) liquidation extension requests must complete a revised instrument in ePlan to align with new requirements released from ED. 

The revised ARP ESSER and ARP Homeless Liquidation Extension Request instruments opened in ePlan on April 15, 2025. To coincide with the opening, the Relief Team and McKinney-Vento Grants Manager conducted a webinar on the revised requirements and instrument. A recording of the webinar, along with slides, instructions, and a revised FAQ, can be found by going to ePlan> TDOE Resources> Relief Funding> ARP ESSER Liquidation Extension Request 2024-10-15> Revised ARP ESSER and ARP Homeless Liquidation Extension Request 2025-04-15.  

The revised ARP ESSER and ARP Homeless instruments are due in ePlan no later than Friday, May 30, 2025. The department will submit requests to ED on a rolling basis as they are approved by the department. Relief Funding office hours will be conducted every Wednesday at 9 a.m. CT | 10 a.m. ET, to provide technical assistance to LEAs. Please use this link to join.

2024-25 Homeless Immunization Report (4/25/2025)

The department is required to report annually the number of homeless children enrolled in public schools without immunization or proof of immunization and the average length of time required for these children to be immunized or to obtain immunization records.

The 2024-25 Homeless Immunization report will be completed in ePlan. The report will open in ePlan on Thursday, May 8, 2025, and is due on or before Friday, Aug. 15, 2025. The report can be found in ePlan > Data and Information > FY25 Homeless Immunization Report. Detailed instructions for completing the report can be found here. 
FY 2025 Alternative Education Survey (4/15/2025)

T.C.A § 49-6-3404 requires the Advisory Council for Alternative Education to, upon request of the governor, the education committee of the senate, either education committee of the house of representatives, or the commissioner of education, make a report on the state of alternative education in this state.   

The FY 2025 Alternative Education Survey will be completed in ePlan. The survey will open in ePlan on Thursday, May 1, 2025, and is due on or before Monday, June 30, 2025.

Consolidated Funding Application (CFA) Updates (4/11/2025)

The Federal Programs and Oversight (FPO) team has planned FY26 ESSA and IDEA CFA Work Sessions to assist LEAs with budgeting strategically. These sessions are intended to provide hands-on assistance for the planning and development to use funds withing the CFA effectively and assist LEAs with the above considerations. To make these workshops beneficial, participants should bring their laptops and other necessary resources. As additional resources, LEAs may reference the FY26 CFA ESEA Training PresentationWhat's New: FY26 CFA, and the Technical Application Guide: FY26 CFA.

The CFA review team will begin reviewing applications as they are submitted, and LEAs are encouraged to submit the FY26 CFA before May 12, where possible.

InformTN Planning Roles (4/11/2025)

To prepare for the opening of the InformTN platform and the School Planning window on Tuesday, May. 1, 2025, district user access administrators can review and assign the School Planning roles that are needed to work on the district plans.  

  • The user report will list everyone in the district with their current roles.

Single Sign On (SSO) Account Set-up and Password Assistance (9/29/2020)
