Announcements
Federal Programs Institute now being held virtually. (7/25/2025)

Thank you for your valuable input on the 2025 Federal Programs Institute. We're transitioning the 2025 Federal Programs Institute to a fully virtual format to expand access and engagement. It will still take place virtually, August 26–28.

We’re excited about the opportunities a virtual format offers for broader participation and statewide engagement. If you or your team have already registered, no further action is needed—your registration will automatically transfer to the virtual event. If you have not yet taken the opportunity to register and wish to do so, you may do so here.

More details about the updated agenda, session access, and logistics will be shared in the coming days.

Thank you for your continued partnership. We look forward to learning and connecting with you online in August.

ARP ESSER and ARP Homeless Liquidation Extension Update (6/10/2025)

The U.S. Department of Education (ED) issued a letter and corresponding FAQ regarding relief fund liquidation extensions. Due to ongoing litigation and the fact that plaintiff states are currently allowed to draw down reimbursements based on projects approved prior to March 28, 2025, ED has extended this allowability to non-plaintiff states to continue that process during the litigation period.

This means that local education agencies (LEAs) with FY25 ARP ESSER or ARP Homeless Liquidation Extension Requests in TDOE Director Approved status may submit reimbursement requests for those completed projects. We encourage your LEA to submit reimbursement requests as quickly as possible. As a reminder, the reimbursement request must include all supporting documentation from the obligation of funds through the final payment.

Please reach out to your ESSER Relief Funding Coordinator, or McKinney-Vento Grant Manager Vanessa Waters with any programmatic questions. You may also contact your Regional Finance Consultant with reimbursement request questions.
