InformTN Planning Roles (1/2/2025)

To prepare for the opening of the InformTN platform and the planning window on Thursday, Jan. 2, 2025, district user access administrators can review and assign the LEA Planning roles that are needed to work on the district plans.  

  • The user report will list everyone in the district with their current roles.  

Relief Funding Liquidation Extension and Reimbursements (1/2/2025)
To support LEAs in the final liquidation of ARP ESSER (ESSER 3.0) and ARP Homeless (1.0, 2.0, and System Navigator), the Tennessee Department of Education (department) has approved liquidation extension requests that met guidance from the U.S. Department of Education (ED). The extension requests for properly obligated funds will be submitted in a written request made by the department on its own behalf and on behalf of LEAs. Final approval of a grantee’s written request will be based upon the specific facts and circumstances, in accordance with 2 CFR § 200.344(b). 

All ARP ESSER and ARP Homeless funds must have been fully obligated by Sept. 30, 2024. Liquidation extension requests were due in the ePlan data and information instrument on Dec. 15, 2024. The department has approved all allowable requests based on the information and documentation provided and will submit the requests to ED.

The department has closed ESSER 3.0 and ARP Homeless 1.0, 2.0, and System Navigator reimbursement requests in ePlan until ED grants final approval of liquidation extension requests.

Avoiding the Discriminatory Use of Artificial Intelligence (12/30/2024)
The U.S. Department of Education (ED) has released a new resource on Avoiding the Discriminatory Use of AI. It states that local education agencies (LEAs) are required to review and edit, using a qualified translator, any machine/AI translation to ensure that information has been accurately translated and conveys the meaning of the original document. Here are some ways to get technical help for InformTN.

  1. The Technical User Guide contains information including how to access InformTN on page 5. 
  2. Click the question mark in the upper right corner to open the Help section which contains the Technical User Guide.
  3. Email inform-tn-help@sip.eldarion.com for other technical support questions.

Single Sign On (SSO) Account Set-up and Password Assistance (9/29/2020)

Individuals that have a locked SSO account should send an email to DT.Support@tn.gov requesting a new Welcome email.
